Summer Learning 2020 - Imagine Your Story

Imagine your own storyAwaken your sense of wonder, play, and discovery at the Markesan Public Library this Summer!  "Imagine Your Story" with exciting performances and events, reading incentives for the whole family, and lots of fun. 

Visit the Library anytime between June 8th to Aug. 1st and pick up a Summer Library Club reader's ticket to sign up.  Children and teens, turn in your first ticket to receive a free new book.  Then enter the raffle of your choice for each new ticket you fill out.  Other small incentives will take place throughout the challenge so visit and read often.  Adults also can enter reading raffles, especially for them. Fun in the Sun: Giant Bubbles: Wednesday July 8th, 1pm weather permitting.

Learn how to make giant bubbles wands out of coat hangers and rope. Other bubble fun will be available too. Event held outside in the library park/courtyard, weather permitting.

Pop Bottle Fireflies with Kim: Wednesday, July 15, 1pm *registration required*

Learn how to make fireflies that really light up in the dark with Kim Zills. Registration is required, as space is limited. Sign up at the library or by calling (920) 398-3434.

   Badger Talks: Dinosaur Stories in Stone: Virtual on Facebook Live: Wednesday June 17th, 1pm
